Mr Jeffrey S Gabbay, Founder and CEO
Mr Jeffrey S Gabbay studied textile engineering and has a background in finance from the New York University. He has thirty years experience in high tech-fibers and textiles, a background which afforded this unique multi-faceted approach needed to develop the Cupron technology.
For the past twenty years he has served as a technical consultant and representative of Springs Industries and Burlington Industries Inc., the two largest textile companies in the U.S. and as an  independent consultant to military establishments in numerous countries. He has served as an advisor to a number of countries over his thirty year career in military and technical textiles. Mr Gabbay has spearheaded the development of Cupron's technology and product line.
With a team of textile, mechanical engineers and a dedicated salesforce, he has engineered, designed, built the pilot system and and is now mass producing to service an ever increasing market.
Cupron Technology
Cupron utilizes the qualities of copper and binds copper to textile fibers, allowing the production of woven, knitted and non-woven fabrics containing copper-impregnated fibers with the antimicrobial protection against microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi that attack Cupron fibers.
Similarly, copper may be integrated into latex and other polymeric products during manufacturing.
These copper-impregnated products possess broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties against microbes that threaten to degrade and damage Cupron fibers and that cause foul odors.
Cupron technology is useful in linens, carpeting, bedding, apparel, and medical devices. Implementation of even a few of the possible applications of this antimicrobial technology may have a major effect on the quality of our fabrics and our lives.
